Your Key Responsibilities
- Depending on engineer’s knowledge and skills, participation or full responsibility of activities related to vehicle architecture development, testing and validation:
- a. Define vehicle mechanical concept & architecture
- b. Packaging/Layout of system, sub-system and components
- c. Make or buy components (RFQ)
- d. Procurement of components, sub-system and services (in collaboration with purchasing and BU)
- e. Acceptance for subsystem and components (in collaboration with purchasing and BU)
- f. Documentation of modifications (in collaboration with purchasing and BU)
- g. Definition of maintenance procedure and plan
- Mechanical integration:
- a. Packaging design refinement
- b. Mechanical integration and assembly
- c. Documentation of modification
Your Qualifications
- Very good practice of MS-Office including MS project
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Ability and willingness to conduct technical work by him/herself
- Driver license for testing activities
- Ability to handle suppliers/outsourcing companies
- Work knowledge of usual project framework with third parties: NDA, SOR, quotation process, prototyping, acceptance test & validation
- Good knowledge of 6 Sigma (include DFSS and Fast X)
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Good practice of automotive development tools/methods depending on area of interest: CAD tools (Creo)
