Indirect Purchasing Category Management Professional

Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of market analyses and the implementation of category strategies
- Define and execute profitable purchasing strategies and effective negotiation tactics for the assigned area, ensuring alignment across functions and divisions
- Continuously monitor the supply market and manage the supplier portfolio to optimize quality, cost efficiency, on-time delivery, sustainability, and compliance with contract terms and legal regulations
- Negotiate prices and terms within the scope of Supplier Management Assignment (SMA) and oversee contract management with suppliers
- Coordinate and manage the assigned category, including purchase price planning and identification of cost-saving projects
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken
- Strong skills in MS Office applications, including PivotTables and Dynamics
- International work experience is highly desirable
- Experience within the automotive industry is considered an advantage
