Location:

Schaeffler is a dynamic global technology company and its success has been a result of its entrepreneurial spirit and long history of private ownership. Does that sound interesting to you? As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities.

General Information

As a Scrum Master with a strong focus on team and organizational development, you help product teams and stakeholders improve how they collaborate, solve problems, and deliver value. You work across team boundaries, identify systemic impediments, and support sustainable improvements in a complex international IT environment.
In this role, you do not act as an administrative coordinator or process enforcer. Instead, you serve as a coach, facilitator, mediator, and change agent who strengthens team effectiveness, ownership, and organizational
adaptability.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive team development by coaching teams and agile roles toward stronger collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement;
  • Identify and address impediments and root causes that limit team effectiveness, flow, and value delivery;
  • Improve ways of working together with teams, interfaces, and stakeholders, taking the end-to-end value stream into account;
  • Facilitate and support organizational change across product groups, teams, and relevant stakeholder structures;
  • Coach teams and stakeholders in the practical application of agile values, principles, and fit-for-purpose frameworks;
  • Strengthen cross-team collaboration and help make organizational patterns, dependencies, and friction visible;
  • Support conflict resolution, alignment, and decision-making in complex and international settings;
  • Contribute to the further development of the organization in the context of ongoing transformation and post-merger integration;
  • Help teams become more effective and self-sustaining rather than creating dependency on the Scrum Master role.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a comparable qualification;
  • Several years of practical experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or comparable role in complex IT environments;
  • Proven experience in coaching and developing teams and supporting sustainable improvements incollaboration and delivery;
  • Strong practical understanding of agile ways of working, including the ability to apply frameworkspragmatically rather than dogmatically;
  • Solid experience in change management, facilitation, mediation, and coaching;
  • Experience working with international, hybrid, and remote teams;
  • Ability to work effectively without formal authority and to influence across teams and stakeholder groups;
  • Good understanding of organizational dynamics, dependencies, and systemic impediments;
  • Experience in an IT operations and/or product-oriented environment;
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence and collaboration tools such as Miro or Conceptboard;
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • High level of adaptability and learning agility;
  • Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented way of working;
  • Confidence in navigating ambiguity and complexity;
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to build trust across cultures and functions.
