Your Key Responsibilities
- Drive active lean projects at our suppliers in accordance with the Schaeffler Production System (SPS) methods to improve process efficiency for our value chain.
- Manage the implementation and training of Lean methods and knowledge to ensure consistency across our Supplier Management Organization.
- Leverage our internal SPS/Lean expertise for our supplier development activities.
- Align and support the use of Lean Management elements internal & external.
- Conducting workshops based on pre-analyses and benefits.
- Supporting the supplier management and production teams of our suppliers in steering continuous improvement processes.
- Drive lean assessments to determine the gaps and need for further supplier development.
- Maintain our reports regarding the benefits of supplier lean projects and workshops.
- Initiating sustainable programs & planning for self-driven supplier lean activities
Your Qualifications
- Studied mechanical or electronic engineering.
- Long-term experience related to production or process know-how.
- Certificated on lean methods with proofed experiences.
- Ideally skills/ experiences in project management.
- Advanced skill for Microsoft Office, ideally as well for Power BI.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Motivation and willingness to travel worldwide. (>30% of your working time at supplier).
- Reliable, conscientious, and a strong team player combined with personal drive.
