Product Owner for the Product Group ServiceNow

General Information

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader for the role of Product Owner for the Product Group ServiceNow (Enterprise Service Management).   
In this strategic position, you will be responsible for driving the management and continuous enhancement of the ServiceNow platform at Schaeffler. You will play a key role in advancing our company’s digital transformation by delivering efficient, innovative and robust ServiceNow solutions that optimally support all relevant IT service processes.  

Your Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a clear product vision and strategy for the ServiceNow platform aligned with IT and business objectives.  
• Develop and manage a strategic roadmap for ServiceNow applications and extensions focused on agility, innovation, and user experience.  
• Manage the entire lifecycle of ServiceNow applications, from requirement analysis through development, testing, rollout, and operations.  
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the ServiceNow platform.
• Coordinate releases, change management, and continuous service improvements.
• Promote automation of IT and business processes leveraging ServiceNow technologies.
• Identify and implement optimization opportunities to increase platform efficiency and service quality.
• Work closely with IT departments, business units, and external partners to ensure platform adoption and achievement of business goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitate workshops, prioritize requirements, and steer development teams
• Technical Lead and develop a cross-functional team of ServiceNow experts by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning, in close collaboration with the People&Competence Manager, as well as Scrum Master.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7/10+ years of experience in IT service management and in operating or developing on the ServiceNow platform. 
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, development, and customization.
• Experience with modern ITSM/ITOM processes and automation technologies.
• Strategic, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to translate complex requirements into user-centric services and to drive cross-functional collaboration.
