Your Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and develop packaging systems based on internal and external requirements, ensuring successful implementation through defined application rules, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) validation, and packaging process requirements.

    • Consolidate packaging requirements from customers, suppliers, manufacturing, logistics, quality, and other stakeholders, translating them into robust packaging concepts and solutions.

    • Manage the Packaging Lifecycle Management process, including packaging introduction, modifications, cost validation, and phase-in/phase-out activities.

    • Develop, maintain, and deploy packaging standards, specifications, application rules, and technical guidelines.

    • Select appropriate packaging materials based on technical performance, durability, sustainability, ergonomics, product protection, and cost efficiency.

    • Review, assess, and approve supplier packaging concepts, technical documentation, prototypes, and packaging design proposals.

    • Coordinate packaging trials, testing, audits, validation activities, and engineering changes with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

    • Act as the main technical interface for packaging-related topics with:

      • Customers
      • Suppliers
      • Packaging manufacturers
      • Manufacturing teams
      • Logistics teams
      • Quality departments

    • Create, maintain, and release SAP packaging instructions and master data based on approved packaging concepts, customer requirements, and Business Segment standards.

    • Own and maintain the Packaging Management Handbook, ensuring packaging work instructions are established, updated, and deployed for both new projects and serial production.

    • Coordinate and execute packaging validation and customer approval activities, ensuring packaging concepts are accepted and implemented according to all technical and operational requirements.

    • Conduct root cause analysis of packaging failures, transport damage, packaging losses, and logistics disruptions, implementing sustainable corrective and preventive actions.

    • Develop packaging solutions supporting sustainability objectives, including:

      • CO₂ reduction
      • Waste minimization
      • Improved packaging utilization
      • Circular economy principles
      • Increased recyclability and reusability

    • Monitor, support, and contribute to the achievement of departmental KPIs related to cost, quality, delivery, sustainability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

    • Identify and implement packaging process improvements, standardization opportunities, automation initiatives, and best practices across all packaging-related activities.

    • Support new product launches, industrialization activities, and serial production by ensuring packaging readiness and process compliance.

Your Qualifications

  • Graduate Degree in Technical studies;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
