Your Responsibilities

• Analyse production data from manufacturing systems, sensors, and simulation tools to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement;
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to optimize production scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control;
• Integrate and analyse data from production line simulations to validate process changes and predict their impact on throughput, cycle times, and costs;
• Create dashboards and visualizations to monitor key production KPIs and support real-time decision-making on the shop floor;
• Providing sustainable and lean solutions for the development and realization of new production concepts worldwide, considering the Schaeffler Production Portfolio for new products;
• Developing and providing methods, tools, and standards for structured manufacturing development globally as well as for assessing manufacturability and feasibility of new products and prototypes both internally and externally;
• Independently consolidating and strategically advancing know-how within the global network in close collaboration with mirror organization.

Your Profile

• Bachelor or master’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Many years of professional experience in a production-related environment;
• Several years experience of production enviroment like Industrial Engineering, industrialization, manufacturing technology or similar;
• Several years experience working with production or manufacturing data, including familiarity with production line processes and simulation software (e.g., 3DX, Plant Simulation, Visual Components);
• Advanced skills in programming and data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization software;
• Practical knowledge of machine learning and statistical modelling techniques applied in production optimization;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Experience with industrial automation systems, MES, or ERP integration is a plus;
• Certifications in Lean Management (e.g., Six Sigma, DfSS) are an advantage;
• Several years of experience in international project management;
• Fluent written and spoken English skills, German is an advantage;
• Intercultural sensitivity and assertiveness combined with strong communication and presentation skills;
• Enthusiasm and strong implementation skills as well as entrepreneurial, strategic, and networking thinking and acting;
• Pioneer of change with unconventional and creative approaches.
