Your Key Responsibilities
- Provides legal advice for all the company's activities in the Subregion;
- Monitors the observance and application of the procedure for concluding contracts within the legal entities belonging to the sub-region of Romania and South-Eastern Europe; ensures the performance of periodic trainings for the commercial departments;
- Manages commercial contracts, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating them in accordance with internal regulations;
- Monitors legislative changes and ensures effective communication of their impact to the relevant departments;
- Ensures compliance with applicable local and international regulations;
- Fulfills the tasks entrusted by the superior and the assumed objectives, in compliance with the legal regulations, the internal regulations of the company and the Group;
- Monitors and informs the relevant departments about the legislative changes applicable to their activity;
- Ensures the correct elaboration of legal documents and in accordance with the legislation in force, with the internal regulations and of the Group;
- Is responsible for maintaining confidentiality in relation to all acts, data and facts of which he/she becomes aware, belonging to or being in connection with the Schaeffler company or group and their interests;
- Provides legal mediation and represents the company in litigation;
- Provides advice on matters related to commercial law, labor law, corporate law and data protection (by way of example, but not limited to) of a personal nature;
- Coordinates and collaborates with the other departments on legal issues;
- Interacts/communicates with external agencies (authorities, suppliers, customers) to the extent that legal issues are involved;
- Undertakes legal assessments and informs the management, CEO/CFO, Legal Director Sub-region and HQ Legal;
- Provides assistance and advice in cases of mergers and acquisitions (if they take place);
- Proposes solutions for avoiding or amicably settling disputes;
- Supervises and coordinates the activity of the contracted law firms; He works closely with the legal department globally.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in key areas such as corporate law, commercial law, and employment law, acquired at a reputable law firm or a comparable organization.
- Proven track record in handling cross-border or regional legal issues.
- Proficiency in MS Office and related PC operations.
- Advanced proficiency in English and/or German
