Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and further develop VC models for configurable linear products at both high and low levels on SAP
  • Define influencing variables, data structures, model logic, and system architecture for configurable materials, and document the results in a structured way
  • Support the expansion of the current KMAT landscape by integrating Ewellix products into the SAP environment within the Ewellix M3 SAP Sales Integration project
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the future KMAT process in the context of the S/4 project, based on the current SAP R/3 process landscape
  • Develop and implement application-specific software solutions to address business, technical, and organizational requirements using tools such as SAP, PIM, and medias
  • Support the implementation and optimization of processes in IT systems, ensuring that product-related departments and systems can access a consistent and shared database where applicable
  • Analyze customer and business requirements, evaluate technical solutions, and define the service scope in alignment with internal stakeholders
  • Prepare functional specifications, screen layouts, and task variants, and translate operational requirements into workable system solutions
  • Develop customer-specific enhancements and support the implementation of release upgrades, error handling, and troubleshooting activities
  • Adapt user and organizational documentation to reflect process or system changes
  • Coordinate development-relevant databases in close cooperation with product-responsible specialists
  • Organize and conduct functional tests for different systems to evaluate stability, usability, and operational suitability, and use the findings to support continuous improvement
  • If required, support sub-projects and technical work packages and contribute to their coordination
  • Conduct independent training and maintain professional exchange with internal departments and external consultants

Your Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical field with relevant professional experience
  • Solid knowledge of software systems, database structures, and configuration-related processes; programming knowledge is an advantage
  • Good understanding of product data, configuration logic, and operational processes in an industrial environment
  • Experience in project work, ideally in development projects or as a sub-project contributor, with the ability to consider technical, quality, and economic aspects
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP; knowledge of PIM, medias (e-Com Platfrom within divison BIS), or similar product configuration tools is an advantage
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Confident use of MS Office tools, especially Excel and Power Point
  • Structured, independent, and reliable working style with strong analytical thinking
  • Willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and the ability to cooperate effectively with internal stakeholders and external consultants
