Developer Service Now

Your Key Responsibilities

Schaeffler's Employee IT organization is on the lookout for a motivated and experienced ServiceNow Developer. This position 
is key to bridging IT and business requirements, ensuring optimal solutions are delivered throughout the organization.

The core responsibility of the ServiceNow Developer is to understand business processes, identify improvement areas, and meet 
these demands through close collaboration with our IT team and other stakeholders.

This role is critical in providing high-quality IT solutions to all Schaeffler employees. 

Responsibilities: 
1. Understand and analyze business needs, processes, and goals within the context of ServiceNow. 
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional ServiceNow solutions. 
3. Manage the development, testing, and deployment of solutions. 
4. Implement best practices and leverage the latest features of ServiceNow. 
5. Offer technical guidance to teams on the usage, customization, and capabilities of ServiceNow. 
6. Conduct comprehensive quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system developments. 
7. Keep up to date with the latest developments and features in ServiceNow and train team members as needed. 
8. Participate in the configuration and maintenance of ServiceNow applications based on specific project requirements. 
9. Lead the ongoing development and optimization of ServiceNow within the organization. 
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote best practices for ServiceNow development. 

Your Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or master's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer. 
3. Solid understanding of IT service management and system development. 
4. Proven ability to manage stakeholders and simplify complex technical information. 
5. Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow, ITSM tools, and methodologies. 
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical mindset. 
7. Excellent team building, leadership, and communication skills. 
8. Knowledge of German is a plus but not mandatory. 
9. Certifications in the ServiceNow Developer Program, ITSM, or relevant certifications would be advantageous.
