Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and govern solutions for large-scale data architectures and applications 
• Select, manage, work hands-on with Big Data tools and frameworks, and implement ETL processes 
• Engineer reusable data products using a graph-based data model 
• Administration and ongoing automation of numerous operational processes based on DevOps / DataOps technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and relevant cloud services 
• Member of the agile product team providing customer solutions, and support operational tasks in a hands-on manner 
• Take responsibility for services developed personally and by peers as well as providing feedback based upon which the other parties can enhance and ensure quality of their deliverables 

Your Qualifications

 

• University degree in (business) informatics or alternative training with relevant professional experience in this field 
• Knowledge of working with Cloud environments and services, preferably with Microsoft Azure or AWS 
• Deep knowledge of the programming languages Python and the Apache Spark framework (PySpark). 
• Knowledge of ETL techniques and frameworks, such as Microsoft Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Azure Data Factory; knowledge in streaming and time series processing a plus 
• Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources and IT systems 
• Experienced in DevOps / DataOps, i.e. infrastructure as code languages like PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible (CI/CD with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) 
• Experience in creating business intelligence solutions is an advantage, preferably in Microsoft Power BI 
• Experienced in data modeling (ER, UML) and proficiency in SQL as well as expertise with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, or Postgres 
• Experience with GenAI approaches an advantage 
• Experience with graph-based databases and semantic web technologies an advantage 
• Fluent in English spoken and written, German is also beneficial 
• At ease interacting with people within and outside of the organization as well as a strong hands-on attitude combined with good analytical skills
