General Information
The role is responsible for technical review of logistical customer requirements of the divisions with regard to the system-side implementation options and coordination of regional execution topics (e.g. TM, packaging) & final statement to the SCM expert of the respective division Implementation of the logistics requirements approved by the division's SCM expert in the systems, shipping points & plants (harmonization, system settings, documentation, IT demands, tests, training, process adjustments).
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design, implementation, harmonization, and continuous development of supply chain processes for Schaeffler Europe;
- Integration of new processes for customer requirements;
- Review, evaluation and commenting on logistical specifications and other logistical requirements of European customers at the request of the divisions;
- Analysis of new or changed logistical customer requirements in the shipping systems and dispatch points of the automotive and industrial sectors;
- Coordination of the feasibility of the requirements with the responsible sales / Customer Service / SCM / customer responsible;
- Implementation of the requirements approved by the divisions in the ERP and/or shipping systems;
- If necessary, coordination and commissioning of the implementation from IT solutions, execution and evaluation of tests for implemented requirements;
- Preparation of training documents and implementation of training courses;
- Structured documentation of accepted and implemented customer requirements for logistics, e.g. in customer manuals;
- Processing of requests in the mailbox and the ticket system;
- Networking: cross-departmental cooperation with the relevant departments (z.B. Customer Service, IT, shipping points);
- Coordination and alignment with all interfaces for the optimization of logistical processes;
- Design and maintenance of a reporting system for the pursuit of goals;
- Management and/or support of projects relevant to customer requirements.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in logistics/supply chain management, industrial engineering, business informatics or comparable field of study;
- Several years of relevant professional experience in an international group in the field of logistics/supply chain, sales/Customer Service or comparable cross-functional experience;
- At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience in process and/or project management for global logistics and distribution structures;
- Initial experience in management and/or independent work in international projects;
- Very good knowledge of SAP R/3, SD and EWM modules, first S4/HANA experience is an advantage;
- Confident handling of MS Office applications;
- Strong willingness to undergo further training;
- Motivational skills, communication and assertiveness, analytical and conceptual skills, high degree of initiative, ability to think outside the box;
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English;
- Social and intercultural skills;
- Willingness to travel internationally.
