Senior Specialist Network Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate a distributed, enterprise scale, high availability campus LAN and WLAN network infrastructure

• Maintain network infrastructure, operating system and software as needed leveraging automation

• Oversee complex campus network infrastructure projects, including design, deployment, and monitoring

• Develop solutions to increase network service stability through automation, mature processes, and problem management techniques

• Coordinate of troubleshooting processes for complex problems in collaboration with different external vendors and internal interfaces

• Monitor network system state in compliance with current capacity plan guidelines

Your Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in enterprise-grade network infrastructures for LAN, WLAN, security solutions

• Proven experience with technologies like:

o Routing and switching
o Wireless LAN
o Core network services (DNS, DHCP) o Network access control (IEEE 802.1X) o Network security
o Cloud services and architectures
o Network automation

• Deep knowledge of Cisco network components

• Proven experience with AAA services (RADIUS and TACACS+)

• Strong customer orientation and good communication skills are desired

• Ability to drill-down and find solutions independently

• Intrinsic motivation and interest in new technologies

• Operational administration experience and project coordination

• Solution-oriented and structured way of working and a good analytical thinking ability

• Open-mindedness, and enthusiasm

• Fluent English skills (verbal and written)
