Your Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the release processes for ServiceNow updates, including enhancements, bug fixes, and new features. 
  • Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to deployment and post-release support. 
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to define release goals, scope, and deliverables. 
  • Develop and maintain detailed release calendars and ensure alignment across all stakeholders. 
  • Conduct risk assessment and mitigation, ensuring that potential issues are identified and addressed before release. 
  • Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure comprehensive release readiness. 
  • Implement and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline the release process. 
  • Conduct release reviews, ensuring all release criteria are met prior to deployment. 
  • Provide detailed release notes and documentation to the organization. 
  • Continuously monitor the performance of deployed releases and facilitate post-release reviews and retrospectives. 
  • Stay current with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to implement improvements in the release process. 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies during the release process. 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT, including a minimum of 3 years as a Release Manager or in a similar role. 
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its capabilities. 
  • Proficient in release management processes and tools, including CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and methodologies. 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple releases and projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Knowledge of German is a plus but not required. 
  • Certifications in ServiceNow, ITIL, or relevant disciplines are highly desirable.
