Packaging Engineer Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities

• Acquisition and verification of customer requirements for packaging, designation, container management (logistics) and, if necessary, forwarding to respective departments for further inspections.  
• Coordinate packaging for and with customers, suppliers, internal and inter-plant.
• Internal coordination with Production/ Assembly, Production Logistics, Container Management, Purchasing Department /Sales, SLE, Logistics Planner, Transportation Planner, Schedulers, Packaging Development regarding all packaging issues.
• Initiate and formulate requirements for Packaging Development.
• Generation and administration of SAP master data for all packaging issues (packaging regulations, assessments, RFMM material master (ERZE, LEIH, VERP), info records of customer material as well as administration of the customer portal.
• Calculation of packaging costs (material and handling, logistics) based on data from Logistics Planning and Packaging Development.
• Determination of circulating container volumes with customers, supplier and inter-plant.
• Assure of the supply of packing material.
• Control and Monitor inventory of Packaging materials.
• Ensuring the timely delivery of packaging materials to SVC, collaborating with suppliers  to coordinate deliveries and shipping schedules to meet our production plan.
• Identify potential shortage and expedite .
• Make sure that ERP system generate timely replenishment and delivery of components align with customer demand.  

Your Qualifications

  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Good analyzing / Planning skill
  • Flexibility and the ability to deal with ambiguous or tense situations
  • Work out cost saving proposals
  • Ability to work both independent and team
  • Ability to fulfil time-critical tasks on time, keep to schedules and deadlines
  • Good at English and PowerBI skills.
