EHS Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in metal manufacturing operations while minimizing risks and improving workplace conditions;
• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies in accordance with legal regulations and international standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA, etc.);
• Oversee occupational safety, health, and environmental risk management at the plant;
• Assess environmental impact, manage waste disposal, hazardous chemicals, emissions, and wastewater treatment compliance;
• Conduct training programs on occupational safety, emergency response, and environmental protection for employees;
• Investigate workplace accidents, environmental incidents, and propose preventive measures;
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities (Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment, Department of Industry & Trade, Fire Prevention Department, etc.) for inspections and compliance reporting;
• Develop and implement EHS improvement plans, introduce risk mitigation initiatives, and enhance overall safety performance;
• Manage wastes treatment (transportation, monitor quantity, delivery minute, upload data in to system)
• Support EHS training programs (prepared material, record, certificate)
• EHS periodic report following Vietnɑmese regulations

Your Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar position and functions in multinational company.
• A university degree in labor safety is preferred, or a relevant engineering/technical degree. (EHS-related certificates are preferred)
• Have  experience working in a metal product manufacturing company.
• Negotiation and  communication  skills in both English and Vietnamese (writing and verbal).
• Confident in dealing with related Health, Safety & Environment matters.
• Good analytical, influencing & organizing skill;
• Experienced of risk assessment and incident management.
• Strong communication and employee training skills (in Vietnamese language).
• Have a hard working attitude and  entrepreneurial/ continous improvement mindset at work.
