Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, organization, and implementation of EHS programs on sub-regional, local, or on-site level according to legislation.
- Implement or align EHS-systems, guidelines and tools, together with external service providers.
- Steer the provision of advice on EHS and support the development and implementation of safe and healthy working practices as well as environmentally friendly processes and products.
- Steer the cooperation with external advisers and maintain relationships with regulatory and government agencies.
- Monitor existing and potential EHS concerns, recommend priorities for resolution, develop remedial measures, and lead response teams for critical incidents.
- Plan, organize, and conduct EHS audits including analyses and documentation of audit findings.
- Ensure communication with and between the locations in the region by means of meetings and conferences calls, etc.
- Report to EnES (regional/ Global) via minutes of conference calls
- Monitor the timely recording, validation and approval of all relevant Safety KPIs in the systems provided
- Provide support for data and information procurement/ provision for all Safety Topics within the respective region
- Participate in the creation, implementation and tracking of regional or country specific Safety targets
- Assist management in the region with the planning of resources
- Provide expert guidance and support to Safety Coordinators in the region
- Define regional or country- specific Safety regulations and documents where this is possible and advisable
- Analyse Safety performance in the region (e.g. processing and status of measures, implementation of Safety Performance Tracker)
- Participate in and assume partial responsibility for budget planning, planning and control of the cost-center budget in agreement with CC Safety
- Participate in Safety ExCo and, if necessary, participate in relevant associations and committees in the region
- Provide functional consultation for the Regional Management Board
- Support and monitor compliance with applicable Safety Laws, guidelines and customer requirement
Your Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar position and functions in multinational company.
- A university degree in labor safety is preferred, or a relevant engineering/technical degree. (EHS-related certificates are preferred)
- Negotiation and communication skills in both English and Vietnamese (writing and verbal).
- Confident in dealing with related Health, Safety & Environment matters.
- Good analytical, influencing & organizing skill;
- Experienced of risk assessment and incident management.
