IT System Technician

Your Key Responsibilities

• Deliver IT services efficiently in line with the Edge IT Service Catalog for the location
• Investigate and resolve network issues, contributing to immediate remediation actions
• Support IT system effectiveness and perform defined change and development requests
• Install, configure and maintain network systems, including client-server environments
• Plan, define and monitor service quality targets, ensuring fulfilment with user support
• Coordinate deep-dive troubleshooting for incidents and problems, escalating internally and externally where necessary to maintain service quality
• Maintain employee data throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
• Configure new PCs and laptops on the network, and set up scanners, mobile printers and printers
• Document all network components and maintain records of PCs, laptops, printers and warehouse network scanners
• Test new software as required
• Act as Information Security Coordinator and manage OT security
• Maintain an incident resolution rate of 92%

Your Qualifications

• IT diploma or degree, or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant professional experience
• Strong knowledge of the following:

• Microsoft Office

• Microsoft Windows (group standard as defined at the time of recruitment)

• Network protocols

• Windows Server

• Proven experience in PC and laptop support
