AP Champion Smart Maintenance Tools (SMT)Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • The Schaeffler Lifetime Solutions (SLS) business filed is of strategic importance to scale Schaeffler bearing business. The Strategic Business Field moves towards offering digital services to end customers and Channel Partners. The Asia-Pacific (AP) region is growing this business field in all sub-regions and it’s countries (India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand). To steer the business in this diverse region a central team is steering the SLS business in alignment with global headquarters in Germany.
  • The product portfolio of SLS can be grouped in 4 main areas: Predictive Maintenance (PM), Lubrication (LUB), Smart Maintenance Tools (SMT) and Remanufacturing (REM).
  • For this position the focus lies on growing the LUB portfolio, responsible to achieve the given LUB sales targets in AP region.
  • This is a position that will require entrepreneurial spirit to support the new and service business as this portfolio grows.
  • You assure successful growth of this business field consisting of products, services, digital services by assuring all required competences to sell are one adequate level within the required sales and technical community internally and externally.
  • You are responsible to drive sales through various sales channels and implement/adapt new business models for each country individually as needed.
  • For the whole SLS portfolio to lead and coordinate with AP sub regions and HQ Germany the Go-To-Market launch process for new product, digital service & solutions launches.

 

Your Qualifications

  • •            Ambitious self-driven professional, strong growth mindset, HUNTING DNA, solution sales experience serving the ambitious growth targets in this strategic business field.

    •            Passion for working with customers (indirect via partners and direct) and understanding how to bring value for them (value adding sales approach).

    •            Degree in Finance/Business related, Engineering  with more than 5 years in a commercial field with project experience, Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

    •            You need to have good analytics and problem-solving skills by working under high pres-sure.

    •            Experience in the field of lubrication (lubricants like grease, oil) and Vibration based Con-dition Monitoring is mandatory.

    •            Understanding of industrial assets (e.g. motors, fans, pumps, compressors, …), production processes and/or maintenance preferred in Cement, Mining, Steel, Pulp&Paper, Chemical, Food&Packaging desired.

    •            Technical basic knowledge on industrial maintenance practice would be welcome.

    •            This position addresses different competencies required as it combines 4 typical roles: Business Development, Product (Portfolio) Management, Project Management, Technical Expert.

    •            Team player with high intercultural sensitivity to work with international teams.

    •            Independent and self-motivated.
