Your Key Responsibilities

Polarion Infrastructure & Operations
-    End-to-end planning and execution of updates, restarts, and re-indexing activities across environ-ments
-    Ensuring high system availability, including downtime planning, coordination, and execution
-    Analysis and resolution of performance, stability, and operational issues (e.g. file descriptor limits, LDAP-related topics, security-relevant settings)
-    Performing maintenance and emergency updates outside Europe business hours, with focus on Asia time zone support
Network and Cloud Infrastructure
-    Handling of infrastructure change activities, covering planning, coordination, implementation, and validation for EC2, ALB/NLB, and DNS switchovers
-    Coordinating system restart activities across teams and environments, ensuring smooth execution and clear communication with all relevant stakeholders
Technical Interface to ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) vendors (like Siemens)
-    Technical handling and pre-analysis of Polarion support cases in coordination with Siemens
-    Management and validation of licenses across different environments and Polarion versions
-    Technical alignment with the tool vendors on AI-related features, actively promote the feature into internal tool feature roadmap 
-    As representative in China to evaluate local ALM tools and benchmark the capabilities with global tools and conducted related testing
-    Deeply involved AI projects related to ALM tools like Polarion, coordinate technical requirements be-tween Schaeffler and the vendors and conduct technical evaluation 
AI development, integration & deployment
-    AI development & integration: develop software components, interfaces, and integration logic re-quired for AI solution delivery, including the implementation of AI-related features and supporting services; implement integrations with LLM APIs, internal systems, databases, and external tools or ser-vices as needed for AI solution delivery.
-    AI deployment: support the deployment of AI solutions into production by preparing environments, integrating services, validating deployments, and working with Machine Learning & AI Engineers on last-mile delivery.
-    AI maintenance: maintain deployed AI solutions in production by handling updates, issue resolution, monitoring, and daily operational support to ensure stable system performance.

Your Qualifications

-    Education & experience: master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in infrastructure operations.
-    Infrastructure, cloud & engineering applications: strong professional experience in IT infrastructure and engineering application environments, with good knowledge of cloud computing technologies, in-frastructure operations, and environment management, such as monitoring system management, software installation, environment setup, and application management across different platforms.
-    ALM, CI/CD & DevOps: knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including require-ments management, test management, configuration management, and change management, as well as Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps-oriented working methods.
-    Programming & development: good programming and development skills; experience with scripting or automation languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.
-    AI solution development: familiar with AI application development and productive-level AI integra-tion, incl. integration with LLM, internal systems, databases, and external tools or services.
-    Collaboration & communication: experience in coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, customer orientation; experience working in agile teams is preferred.
-    Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
