Your Key Responsibilities
- Work under direct supervision of immediate Leader and routine operational guidance of others.
- Follow standard work instructions and work specifications.
- Collect, record, document and enter all data as required.
- Operate all machines within the defined work area.
- Familiar with the set up, calibration and maintenance of all tools, equipment, systems, processes and machines which are used to perform work.
- Perform required operator TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) and complete fault tags where required.
- Perform required machine cleaning & area cleaning as scheduled and complete faut tags where required.
- Perform basic problem solving and basic troubleshooting to resolve production/process/TPM/5S issues to meet required standards.
- Responsible for quality and quantity of 5S & TPM work.
- Monitor & track oil levels/usage & usage of maintenance parts on TPMs for all machines and initiate troubleshooting where required.
- Perform inspection on own work usingstandards as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
- Required to train other operators as needed.
- May be required to work in other departments.
- Confirm operational/technical questions with area Setter (and/or Technician where applicable) or Leader when necessary.

- Education: Grade 12
