Service Delivery Manager SSC Logistics

Your Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Operations Responsibilities

  • Management of assigned employees.
  • Participation in the transfer of logistics processes.
  • Participation in ensuring transferred processes are initiated and implemented successfully.
  • Legally compliant organization of transferred procedures and processes within the logistics function and ensuring problem-free operations, including continuous documentation.
  • Further development and configuration of the logistics function within SSC Logistics AP.
  • Perform monthly KPI analyses, propose improvements and track actions to meet planned spending targets.
  • Set up corrective actions and/or cost-cutting measures where previous actions have not proven effective.
  • Coordinate and participate in the SSC Logistics budget process.
  • Establish optimization projects together with the reporting manager and define measures to achieve budgeted cost objectives.
  • Coordinate investment plan proposals, including justification, documentation, approval submission and project execution in line with capacity planning.
  • Organize, monitor and provide resources for SSC Logistics processes.
  • Monitor implementation of process changes.
  • Coordinate periodic capacity study analyses within SSC Logistics. 

  Human Resources Management Responsibilities

  • Plan, recruit and manage SSC Logistics AP workforce, including calibration and succession planning.
  • Organize and conduct weekly operational team meetings and regular one-on-one sessions.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental KPIs together with the team.
  • Participate in employee development discussions with the department manager and implement appropriate training measures.
  • Establish, communicate and monitor achievement of individual and team objectives.

  In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his/her superior that are essentially related to his/her responsibilities

Your Qualifications

• • Education & Experience

    • BA/MA Degree in Business (Logistics/SCM, Business, or Technical disciplines).
    • Comprehensive knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Project Management, Process Management, Strategy Definition and Digitalization.
    • At least 5 -7 years of experience in either Supply Chain/ Purchasing or Logistics function. 
    • Experience in managing and leading within the functional area.
    • At least 5 years of experience in people management. 
    • Previous experience in Shared Service environment would be advantageous

    • Well organized and able to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
    • Organized, detail-oriented and customer-service focused.
    • Works well both independently and in teams.
    • SAP overview with transactional knowledge in MM/IM modules.
