Your Key Responsibilities

    <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Conduct sound and vibration measurement, and use simulation and vehicle simulation technology to solve complex customer problems. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Understand, assess and decompose noise vibration and harshness (NVH) requirements and assess NVH simulation results (Campbell diagram, waterfall diagram, modal analysis, etc.). <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Recommend, evaluate, and test damper concepts and develop solutions to drivetrain noise and vibration issues. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Coordinate/conduct external/internal testing for NVH and measure airborne sound and structure-borne vibration. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Evaluate designs based on NVH best practices, and coordinate with related groups on NVH topics. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Communicate NVH topics including technical proposals and explanations with customers. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Support test engineers in data acquisition and analysis. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Support NVH testing that occurs at test labs both within and outside of Schaeffler, including vehicle measurements.

Your Qualifications

Required:

<ul _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517=""> <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field. <li _ngcontent-ng-c2775544517="">Minimum one year of experience in NVH related areas.
  • Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components.
  • Understanding of modelling and simulating of electric or mechatronic systems.
  • Clear communication ability (written & verbal).
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Continuous improvement approach.
  • Ability to prioritize and make recommendation and decisions.
  • Extremely self-motivated & motivated to achieve results.
